Sorry For the Discommodious

Did some browsing on Ebay yesterday, where I stumbled upon this gem in a product description:

Please contact us in English only, we are sorry for the inconvenience caused to you, thank you! (...) Sunday & China National Holiday we might cannot response you in time, sorry for the discommodious.

Great, isn't it?

And now, I suppose I should address the fact that I haven't posted anything of substance on here for months... I've mostly been distracted by all the fancy bells & whistles of the Facebook universe. But that, of course, is no excuse for so woefully neglecting my blogging duties.

So, I truly apologize - and I'm sorry for the discommodious.

The Perfect Valentine

I awoke on Saturday to find this waiting for me:

Sweet! Does he know me, or what?!

Hope you all had as excellent a Valentine's Day as I did.

Cool Meme

I saw this meme on Saoirse Daily2, and thought it sounded like a neat idea:

Grab the nearest book - no matter what it is. Textbook, novel, pop-up book, building code study guide, whatever.

Turn to page 25.
Read the 10th word on that page, or the following if that one is blank.
Type that word into Google Image search.
Post the third image.
Tag 4 people and tell them.
Link back to this post.

This is where it brought me:

Consider yourself tagged.

Happy Presidents' Day!

The Peace Carol

To wish you all the merriest of Christmases, here is one of my favorite songs from the best Christmas special of all time (yeah, I said it!), John Denver & The Muppets: A Christmas Together:

The best line:

Add all the grief that people may bear,
Total the strife, and the trouble and care,
Put them in columns and leave them right there.
The peace of Christmas Day
